Downtown Austin’s most technologically advanced dental studio welcomes Dr. Samera Owhadian, DMD to the practice beginning May 1st.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Samera Owhadian, DMD graduated as student body President of The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she was recognized with academic and clinical honors, including the Alumni Leadership Award, the American Association of Women Dentists Distinguished Service Award, and the NJ Dental School Student Leadership Award. She also attended the University of Texas, Austin where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development & Family Sciences.

Following graduation, Dr. Owhadian completed an advanced training General Practice Residency at Houston’s Memorial Hermann Hospital via the University of Texas Dental Branch, with emphasis on hospital and sedation dentistry, and a focus on the treatment of the medically complex and special needs population. She is licensed as a general dentist by the Texas State Board of Dentistry, and an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
