Featuring Kirsten Dunst as Torrence Shipman, a tortured cheer-artist, struggling with issues of originality and artistic integrity. Gabrielle Union co-stars as Isis, the oppressed cheerleader from across the tracks whose routines are full of the soulful ethnicity and street-savvy with which Torrence so desperately wishes to infuse her own work. How this epic struggle ends has to be seen to be believed. Not since Salieri and Mozart in AMADEUS has there been an artistic battle this monumental.
