ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Born and raised in the Youngstown area of Eastern Ohio, Jessi Clayton began painting while still a small child. An identical twin, she has often struggled with her own identity, seeking solace and therapy in artistic expression. At a young age she discovered early twentieth century surrealists such as Marc Chagall and Salvador Dali, allowing her to realize that her vision and imagination could be appreciated. Her deeply personal, metaphoric and psychologically expressive pieces evoke many of the sentiments of those early inspirations, as well as those of contemporary influences such as Mark Ryden and Jamali. A graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design, Clayton recently relocated to Austin, Texas, where she works full time on private commissions and preparing a new collection for her first Texas show. RECKLESS KELLY’S CELEBRITY SOFTBALL JAM: SUNDAY, APRIL 25TH

Reckless Kelly, an Austin based roots rock band, will host their second annual Celebrity Softball jam.

When: April 25, 2010 at 2pm
Where: The Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas.

With over 10,000 expected attendees, and major media coverage pre and post-event, the 2nd Annual Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam set for Sunday, April 25th, at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock!

The softball game will feature several performing artists, including Reckless Kelly, and stars from the sports world, including NASCAR’s Kyle Petty and former boxing champion Jesse James Leija. Following the softball game, the audience will be invited onto the field to enjoy a concert featuring Reckless Kelly and Cross Canadian Ragweed along with several other acts. Festivities will conclude with a fireworks display.

Last year’s event attracted more than 6,000 fans and raised more than $35,000. This year, proceeds will be shared between three community-oriented causes: the Miracle Leagues at both Town & Country and San Antonio and their belief that “Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball,” and Little League of Austin and its teams, fields and facilities in need of support. Express Owner and C.E.O. Reid Ryan said he expects this year’s event to be an even bigger success.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 on the day of the event. Admission is free for children 12 and under with purchase of an adult ticket (one child per adult ticket).
